Position Summary:

We're on the hunt for an awesome VP of Lending, someone who will truly be the heartbeat of our team! In this role, you'll be the go-to real-estate financial lending advisor, managing a book of business and growing it every month. You’ll not only be the conductors but also the main relationship managers, forming the most significant bond between our clients and us. It's your job to build lasting relationships with clients and onboard new ones. Your unique talents, training, motivation, and leadership will be the driving force behind our rapid growth and the influx of incredible "ideal new clients" we serve. Unlike the mundane world of vanilla real estate transactions, you'll have the creative freedom to make our customers' dreams come true.

Day to day, you'll be capturing the essence of each deal and working closely with internal loan processors to ensure a smooth and efficient process. Your focus will be on serving existing clients, nurturing strategic relationships, and expanding your book of business with new customers. You'll be part of a passionate team that thrives on setting high expectations, hustling harder, and celebrating every success!

Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has at least five years of experience as a Loan Officer at a community bank or private lender. We need someone who lives and breathes outstanding customer service and consistently delivers on expectations. Corporate Mandates:

  • Build your Book of Business (Your Dream 50)
  • Take a full application from a client
  • Craft the customer's story – Past, Present, and Future
  • Develop a Circle of Success for each client
  • Become a trusted advisor to your clients
  • Review core documents before building a Letter of Intent (Credit report, asset statements, REO, etc)
  • Collaborate with your Production Assistant to produce an LOI and deliver it to the client
  • Conduct routine site visits to projects in your Book of Business
  • Provide assistance to the Portfolio Management team in helping clients exit troubled projects


  • You'll be in charge of hiring a dedicated Production Assistant for loan file preparation
  • Grow your client portfolio to 50 active customers, averaging 15-20 loans per month.
  • Achieve a customer repeat rate of >80%
  • Leverage your network of existing customers to identify opportunities for growth and secure at least two new loans per month through your referral network
  • Enhance your visibility in the real estate investor community through speaking engagements and organizing/leading roundtable discussions
  • Dedicate 1-2 hours a week to coaching and mentoring the AVP
